This course provides comprehensive coverage of the South African construction industry, including SACPCMP’s safety standards, to equip safety professionals with the necessary knowledge for the creation of a safety file.
Any participant attending this course is expected to understand general health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices such as construction H&S law (especially the South African Construction Regulations), risk management, incident management, inspecting and auditing, and reporting. This course’s content is based on South African legislation and best practice guidelines and covers the major HSE risk areas in construction work, which are found on project sites.
After completion of this course, the participant will have a sound understanding of the legal compliance and best practices requirements placed on the client, Principal Contractor, and contractors, with specific reference to the development of a Safety File.
